Dr. Feder is the prominent Fifth Avenue Dermatologist and Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon. With more than 20 years of unparalleled experience in all aspects of cosmetic dermatology and surgery, Dr. Feder is also a famous author, international lecturer and inventor of his own line of skin treatment and
rejuvenation products.- An excellent student, he graduated with distinction from Hobart College and New York Medical College, in New York City.
- Dr. Feder did residencies in the United States Public Service Hospitals and New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, New York City. These included the fields of dermatology, pathology, and cosmetic surgery.
- Among his various fellowships in cosmetic plastic surgery worldwide, one of the most notable is with his mentor, Dr. Pierre Fournier in Paris, the inventor of syringe- liposculpture.
- Lipo-sculpture is another modality in which Dr. Feder is an expert. He worked closely with Dr. Giorgio Fisher of Rome, Italy- the inventor of liposuction.
- He also studied under the late Dr. Benitto Rish, one of the worlds top cosmetic surgeons and the inventor of the Rish chin implant.
- Recently, Dr. Feder collaborated with Dr. Marlen Sulamanidze in Moskow, Russia, where Dr. Feder taught his micro-lipo-foundation technique to a group of cosmetic surgeons. Dr Sulamanidze invented the APTOS Thread Facial Technique, which Dr. Feder introduced to the United States. He is the first cosmetic surgeon to use this breakthrough procedure in the United States.
- Dr. Feder not only pioneered and perfected chemo-dermabrasion for facial
resurfacing and acne scaring (the combination of chemical peel and dermabrasion), he also introduced collagen injections on the East Coast. He is at the forefront of autologus fat cell transplantation (fat injections) and liposculpture, developed in conjunction with Dr. Pierre Fournier. - He uses the latest development in laser therapy and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for facial and body rejuvenation and to treat broken capillaries, rosacea, vascular tumors and pigmentary disorders.
- Dr. Feder is a Cosmetic Surgery Consultant to Ethicon, Inc., a division of Johnson & Johnson for new product development and technical procedures.
